Where do you deliver ?For the moment, we deliver in France within 24 hours and in all Europe within 48 hours. For other countries, please contact us.How much does the delivery cost ?Deliver costs 8 euros for France, 25 euros for Belgium and 30 euros for the rest of Europe (all charges included). Delivery charges are offered for any order over 150 euros, in France exclusively.How much does the delivery cost on saturday ?Such a delivery will be done under condition of a request by telephone or mail. This implies an 8 euros extra-charge for a delivery at your home. But if you wish to pick up your order at your TNT or UPS holding station, there is no extra-charge.How are the livestock packed ?Livestock are packed with most care. We use heating or cooling Styrofoam, quality cardboard boxes, heat packs, cool packs in summer, Styrofoam peanuts. The box wears the mentions "Fragile and Urgent". The box is entirely covered with plastic wrap. The livestock are placed in thick plastic bags, doubled or tripled, sometimes quadrupled, with more than enough water and oxygen necessary for the travel. Moreover, the bags have absolutely no space to move in the box during the delivery. We do our best to prevent the livestock from being stressed so that they are ready to be acclimated to your aquarium. There are no additives in the bags water. The water in the bags is the same that in our facilities (Specific gravity : 1024).How can I know my delivery date ?The state of our stocks is precised in our Internet shop. All our livestock in stock are immediately available and ready to be shipped. When you order, your items are immediately reserved. Unless you order animals that are not in stock, the procedure is the following :
For France :
Every day, we ship all orders made before 9.30 a.m. or the day before.Except on free days, we deliver in France on mondays, tuesdays, wednesdays and thursdays. Your order arrives the following day before 2 p.m. For a shipping on friday (reception on saturday), you have to precise it because there is an extra TNT charge (in France exclusively) and delivery does not apply in every town.
For Europe :
We only ship on mondays and tuesdays, for security reasons. Orders arrive within 48 hours.How and when will I receive my TNT or UPS tracking number ?The day your order is shipped, between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., we automatically send an email with your tracking number for you to be able to follow your order. To follow your order, go to http://www.tnt.fr for a reception in France or to http://www.ups.com for a reception in Europe.Why are the orders shipped quickly ?Livestock shipping must be the shortest possible in order to guarantee the animals survival. We take the time necessary to be sure that the livestock are fully acclimated, healthy and well-fed. The available livestock is then put on our Internet shop. The state of our stocks (number of individuals) is precised in the column "Number in stock". All animals you see in stocks are immediately available and ready to be shipped, although there are rare exceptions.Why is it necessary for the living stock to be acclimated in our facilities ?Most livestock have already traveled thousands of kilometers before arriving at our facilities. We have to quarantine them in order to make sure that they are healthy and completely prepared to tank life. This allows us to ensure high quality and our15 day guarantee. |
